From Kyoto, self-propelled Shimanami Kaido and Tobishima Kaido

time 2018/02/07

I left it fairly, but I went from Kyoto to hiroshima's Shimanami Kaido by self-drive around July last year. Where did you come from, why did you want to go to the Shimanami Kaido? Self propelled? day trip? It became like. The route is planned → Onomichi, Kyoto→ → Munakata Port (Omishima) → Okamura Port (Okamurajima) → Hiroshima. When I made a route with Strava's route builder, the mileage was 470 km and the time was about 20 hours, so I thought that this would definitely be a night ride, so I prepared steadily. When you get out in the morning, you don't have anything to see when you arrive at night on the Shimanami Kaido, right? So, I left in the evening and decided to arrive at the Shimanami Kaido in the morning. I think there were about four members at first, but in the end I decided to go with Mr. Moribit.
equipment is like this. Two front lights, two rear lights, headlights and rear lights on the helmet, a Cycon installed OSM on Garmin Edge Touring, which is not released in Japan dedicated to navigation, the top tube bag has a pile of mobile batteries for lights and psychos, the contents of the saddle bag change with the return row bag, The upper body also wore an EN1150 standard reflective vest. I wanted to go out to Bulbe, so it became equipment that seemed to be able to go out to Bulbe. First of all, I went to Moniguro after 16:00, ate, met at the entrance of Yodogawa CR at 18 o'clock and left. The longest distance until then is about 190km in Biwaichi? I thought that I would run 240 km in advance, but I could not do it after all due to the weather, and suddenly it became twice the longest distance ride until now. Mr. Moribit, who has many experiences, ran loosely while being threatened to die if he did not think about pace, and first arrived at Ma Komon. After leaving Makomon, go out to R2 and go west from there. There are many signals and cars in Osaka City, and there are reverse running and signal ignore bicycles, and it is very tsumarana katta. It became easy to run though there were a lot of signals from about Amagasaki. The first one cruised at 30 while I saw the navigation in front. I arrived in Kobe after 9:00 p.m., and here was my first convenience store break. I left with a toilet and supply at a convenience store. The head is replaced every 20 km (about 40 minutes), long is restrained at 34 to 35 while saying that you do not think about the pace … There is also an overpass that cannot run light vehicles, and it runs while slightly bypassing. After 0:00, we passed through himeji. Mileage 130km. It was my second break at a convenience store just after here. From here comes a little bit of a favorite ass. I understood that I went up Chiba of Wakayama with a wheel line + 1 night equipment this week ago, but the up was hard … It's getting brighter. I was a little napped at a convenience store after this. I entered Hiroshima prefecture before 7 o'clock. This time, Mr. Moribit's consciousness is suspicious, so caffeine is thrown in. The mileage is 260km, and the appearance of the knee is suspicious from this area … I started to see the loady from around this little while ago. I was worried if it was suitable because I was running on the driveway normally on onomichi Ohashi bridge across Mukojima, but it was okay. It was from the second bridge that was separated from the driveway. If you look into it later, it is common to use a ferry? The photo shows after crossing the first bridge. You can see the bridge across Innoshima. My knee hurts. Cross Innoshima Bridge. Mileage 300km. It runs under the bridge divided into the driveway like this. There is also a pedestrian lane, but it seems to take quite a while if you walk … There was quite a lot of height, but the slope to the bridge was bypassed around and was suppressed to about 4 to 5% obliqueness. Instead of going directly from Innoshima to Ikikunoshima, I headed to the Bicycle Shrine (Oyama Shrine) in Innoshima. In front of the shrine is a steep slope only for a moment. I was able to get a cold towel. Thank you, I bought an amulet. At a later date, it seems that I started selling the amulet of The Ross, and it seemed to be a little disappointing … I'm half asleep. Next, we crossed Ikguchi Bridge and went to Ikout Island. This time it seems to pass next to the driveway. Ikguchi Island. Because my knee hurts, I can only put out about 100W … I take a break at dolce Setoda main store because it is hot. Because it is an island, of course the surroundings are the sea. Next is Tatara Bridge. Since the shape of the upper part of the bridge is all different, it seems that you can see where the bridge is in the shape of the upper part. Everyone is the one who shoots well. In the plan, it was a U-turn from here to Imabari and it was the Tobishima Kaido, but there was a pain in my knee, so I did not put out much speed, and there seemed to be a little time, so I decided to proceed to the Tobishima Kaido as it is from Omishima at the turning point. To get to Okamura island on the Tokushima Kaido, you need to take a ferry, but since it leaves Munakata Port at the western end of Omishima, move. There is a road in the north and a south road, but I chose the south road, and I regretted it quite coming up … It's too hard and there are no photos on the way. It's too hot, but there is no air conditioner in the waiting area. Even so, they both were drowsy, so we took a nap for nearly an hour before the ferry arrived. Ferry arrival. I thought it was a small ferry named Ferry, but it is quite large. It is sailing quite slowly. About 30 minutes to arrival, also nap. Arrived at Okamura Port on Okamura Island. It's hot out of the air-conditioned boat. And the goal. I couldn't (^^;) afford to take pictures because of my hard work and my knees hurting. The place where the Tokushima Kaido was different from the Shimanami Kaido was that there is no road for bicycles on the bridge, so basically there are about 7 to 9% at the same angle as the driveway ・ There is no convenience store so it can not be replenished (although it was understood by advance information) ・ There were few bicycle rides (I did not see it on this day) After crossing Honshu, I ran R185 and scored at Kure Station around 16:30. Mileage 410km, Acquisition altitude 1900m, AVE24. 3km/h, calories burned exceeded 10000kcal, so it canst and no longer appear. After arriving at Kure Station, first go to the public bath south of the station. I wanted to take a bath as soon as possible. When you get out of the public bath, the next step is rice. meal. meal. meal. After eating, we went from Kure Station to Hiroshima Station. At Kure Station, the music of the space battleship Yamato was playing. From Hiroshima Station, take the Shinkansen to Kyoto Station. Apparently it was the last of the Shinkansen, so it was time-to-minute. I was quite impatient (^^;) because my knee hurt and I couldn't raise the pace of walking It took tens of hours on the bike, but on the Shinkansen for a few hours. Road bikes are not a means of transportation, but luxury goods. I broke up with Mr. Moribit at Kyoto Station and went further to the nearest station at home. We arrived around 11:30 p.m. Unsubscribed. Thank you for your hard work. Relive is here. This year, bicycle activities resumed in March. First of all, I would like to practice bank at Mukocho Velodrome and go to Kansai Track Festa. After that, norikura skyline cycle hill climb in July, I wonder where to run long …
