I decided to work by bicycle to work with Randner.

Giant Defy3, who was using it for commuting due to an accident at the end of August, died, and after I was able to resume commuting by bicycle, I commuted on the weekend road. However, because it is for weekends, I do not want to use it for commuting too much … So I was worried about what to do with the next commuter car, but recently I have been addicted to camping, so I decided to make a lander thinking that I would go camping even by bicycle. Randner was only knowledgeable for travel, so I examined various things ・ Chromoli is good so that it can be welded even if the frame is broken on the trip (the ride is also soft). ・ 26 inches of the same size as Mamachari is good so that even a small bicycle shop on the trip can procure tires. ・ Considering the loading weight of the brake, there is also a disc brake specification with higher braking power recently (important because it is a believer in disc brake teaching). ・ The MTB system with low gear ratio is good considering durability and loading weight for components. There seemed to be some such.
first frame. While I was investigating what kind of 26-inch chromoly frame with disc brake specifications was there, I found a frame called Disk Trucker of Surly. It was a disc brake version of a frame for Landner from the same manufacturer named Long Haul Trucker. The frame size also has a size that fits my height, and I decided to buy this. Surly Disc Trucker Then brake. I used to use Shimano calipers for disc brake calipers, but I can't like one push, so I chose the TRP Spyre, a push-both push model. It is mechanical, but it is both pushes. By the way, the weekend road uses a hydraulic disc brake with a wire pull called TRP HY / RD. TRP Spyre Then the component. I want to use the STI lever, and at first I ordered it with the front triple of the 4700 series Tigra, but I was worried whether I could go up the slope when the loading weight was large, and I changed it to a lower gear ratio Deore. The site I ordered is Bike24, but it was good that I was able to accept it even if I emailed the order contents change after ordering. So when the component is Deore, the STI lever may not be usable due to the amount of pulling the delayer, so I decided to use the W lever. If the W lever is also an index type, there is a possibility that it can not be used due to the problem of pulling amount unlupant, so select the friction type. Shifting is troublesome, but I think the structure is the simplest. W lever The brake lever uses the BL-R400 that is rolling at home. When I made the cross bike I was riding before into a drop handle, I bought the BL-R400 because the STI lever was expensive, but after all I replaced it with an STI lever, so the BL-R400 was rolling almost without being used. It's useful in this way. BL-R400 Then the wheel. I don't know if I'll run long distances at night, but I chose the front wheel with a hub dynamo so that I don't have to worry about the battery of the light. At first I thought I'd hand-assemble it, but I found a wheel with a 26-inch hub dynamo (6V3W) on the Bike24, so I chose it. Disc Trucker can wear tires up to 53mm, but for the time being I will let you wear the same size as Mamachari 26×1 3/8 tires. DH-3D37 For the handle, I chose a drop handle with both sides raised a little bit, called landner bar. Landner Bar Saddle is the sixth to form a bicycle with a man who was at home for the time being (laughs) How many weeks will it take to arrive? I'm looking forward to it. Landner production record is here 2017/01/22 Postscript I tried to commute by bicycle several times, and if it was mamachari's tire, rolling resistance was large and commuting of 16km one way was quite difficult, so I replaced the tire with Pana Racer Closer Plus. It was quite difficult to run at 23 km / h with mamachari tires, but if you replace it with Closer Plus, 27 to 28 km / h will come out normally. However, it seems to be easy to puncture, so it seems better to make a tire that is hard to puncture when going camping.
