Production of China Carbon Road No. 2 Part 3 [80mm Deep Rim Hand Set]

time 2016/12/24

Continued from the last time. Next is the hand assembly of the wheel. Like the previous frame, I decided to hand-assemble this time. It is also an 80mm deep rim with dimple imported from Alibaba, and the hub is DT Swiss 350 DB FW and RW.
Assemble the hub through the spokes with a disc brake pair. And runout. After the run-off is over, attach the tire. The tube with a valve length of 80 mm is quite good price, so I decided to use a valve extender. There are several types of valve extenders, but they remove the valve core, install the extender, and then attach the valve core. Tyre used schwarbe's Prowan, formerly Schwarbewan, so I decided to use the successor ProWan. Remove the valve core with the valve core tool and install the valve core where the extender is installed. I was assembled. Next, I thought that I would attach the seatpost to the frame, but the accuracy did not come out to the part that fixed the seatpost, so I did not enter the hole where the part was put at all … Next is a column cut of carbon fork. The end of the cut. For the time being, I tried to combine only the shape. The appearance is fine, but in fact the diameter of the through axle of the front hub does not fit … The diameter of the through axle required by the frame is 12 mm, but the diameter of the through axle of the front hub of DT Swiss is 15 mm. After researching various things, DT Swiss ordered an adapter that changed the diameter of the through axle. last.
