On weekends, I went to Kasagi Campsite in Kasagi-cho, Soraku-gun, Kyoto Prefecture for a bicycle camp. This campsite, the daily use is cheap at 300 yen (600 yen in 2 days if you stay), I was worried for a long time, but it seems to be popular in the summer and it will be a great thing for people in summer, so I thought that I would go in winter when there are few people. It's usually an auto camp, but I wanted to do something like a bike excursion, so I formed a landner, so this time I took a bicycle.
The preparation was not finished the night before, and it took time to prepare, and departure was before 14:00. They are bad at work It is a distance that can be reached in about 50 km from home to Kasagi Campground, and a little over 2 hours if it is a road bike, but this time I did not know how long it would take because the tire is like a block tire with a total weight of more than 43 kg, but I was thinking carefreely that it would take 4 hours.
At first, I was still energetic, and I took photos of the Kizu River that I do not usually take.
The current bridge is under construction.
After that, he ran silently and arrived at the end of Kizugawa CR. It was only about 15km / h by the headwind. It's already tough…
buy here. When I looked it up on Google Maps in advance, there was a supermarket called Sandy, so I was thinking of buying there, but there was a fresco in front of it, so I bought it there.
I bought something to eat tonight. Also, I wanted to eat yakitori while drinking hot sake, so I looked for yakitori, but it was not sold, so I bought sausage instead. Separately, bring 2 go of white rice from home. At this point, it was too slow before 16:00.
The route through R163 is the closest and there is no slope, but it is a road that passes quite a lot of trucks, so I went through the mountain crossing route on the south side of the river. One piece along the Kizu River in front of it.
The route was over the mountain through Iwafune-ji Temple, but the navigation pointed to the route along the river. Was there a way for that? While thinking, I thought it would be easy if I could avoid the mountain, so I thought it would be easy and proceeded to Navi Street … Sure enough, on a road like a mountain trail … Nabi ignored and headed for iwafuneji route. From the beginning of the up, I went up and over with a super low gear of 24x36T almost all the time. According to Strava the distance is 3. 8km, average obliqueness 4%. Well, is there anything that can't be raised? I thought, but after all it was an average oblique fraud. Just before Iwafune-ji Temple, the angle was 11%, and it was a foothold. The bicycle was too heavy and it was hard to push up. (This is a picture of the return)
I thought that if I had time, I would stop by Iwafune-ji Temple, but the time was 17:30, and it went down at a glance without such room. There is a branch on the way down, and I checked the route of the nearer in street view in advance, and I thought that the road was not so beautiful and I did not want to pass too much, but the time is also late, so I went to the route of the person who was close without hesitation. It seems to be dim even in the daytime, but the sun is near and it is pitch black. Moreover, the road surface was rattled, it turned blue with moss, the leaves fell considerably, and there was a river without a guardrail next door, and it was quite exciting. I tried to take a picture, but it was too dark to take, so I opened it a little and took it in a place where the light was shining.
Through there, it merges with the original route. From there, the road surface was also beautiful, so I was able to run at 30 to 40 km / h. I thought that it would be hard to return, but I wanted to get to the campsite somehow until 18 o'clock, but there was an announcement at 18 o'clock around Kasagi Station next to the campsite, and it was over 18:00 at the last minute. (^^;) If you look at the free site through the entrance of the campsite that is said to be narrow, it is said that there will be a tremendous number of cars and tents in winter, but Kasagi Campsite was quite crowded. The vicinity of the entrance was already full, and I thought that it would be good to go to the back and pitch a tent in a place like a playground that became a little high, so I looked for a place where stones were decreasing on the riverbank where the stones were rumbling. More than halfway from the entrance, I found a good place, and set up a tent in a hurry. Because it is the tent that I bought the other day, it is the first time to set up, and it is dark enough to work without light, so it took quite a while setting up while lighting with a lantern. It took an hour to set up safely, and by the time I threw all my luggage into the tent for the time being, it was completely night.
